The Minnesota Vikings have acquired Jalen Reagor from the Philadelphia Eagles.

In return, the Eagles receive a 2023 seventh-round NFL draft pick and a 2024 conditional fourth-round pick that would downgrade to a fifth-round pick if certain statistical marks are not met.

The Eagles selected Reagor 21st overall in the 2020 NFL draft. 

A number of teams have inquired with the Pittsburgh Steelers about trading for Mason Rudolph, according to a report.

The Steelers have no interest in moving Rudolph unless the offer is simply too good to pass up on.

Rudolph is the only quarterback on the roster with experience in offensive coordinator Matt Canada's system.

The Carolina Panthers have acquired Laviska Shenault in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Carolina sent Jacksonville a 2023 seventh-round pick and a 2024 sixth-rounder for Shenault, according to a source.

Shenault carries a $1,309,643 cap hit in 2022 and $1,659,464 hit in '23.

Denzel Mims, a 2020 second-round pick, has requested a trade from the New York Jets.

The wide receiver has been frustrated with a lack of opportunities. Mims' agent, Ron Slavin, met Aug. 6 with Joe Douglas to express concerns. According to sources, Mims also has shared strong feelings with Robert Saleh in private meetings.

"It's just time," Slavin said. "Denzel has tried in good faith, but it is clear he does not have a future with the Jets. Denzel vowed to come back better than ever this season and he worked extremely hard in the offseason to make that happen. Still, he has been given very few opportunities to work with the starting offense and get into a groove with them.

"We feel at this point a trade is our only option since the Jets have repeatedly told us they will not be releasing him. Joe Douglas has always done right by Denzel and we trust that he will make every effort to find him a new home where he can be a contributor."

Mims, 24, has a total of 31 receptions for 490 yards and zero touchdowns in two seasons.

The Miami Dolphins have discussed Mike Gesicki in trade talks with other teams, according to a report.

Gesicki received the franchise tag this offseason and will play under the one-year, $10.9 million tender. The two sides couldn't agree on a long-term deal before July's deadline.

The Dolphins drafted the tight end in the second round of the 2018 draft.

We are nearing September and Jimmy Garoppolo remains with the San Francisco 49ers.

There haven't been many rumors involving Garoppolo, who was briefly linked to the Cleveland Browns following Deshaun Watson's 11-game suspension.

Garoppolo continues to work out on his own at the team facility. Asked if the quarterback could end up being on the team when the regular season starts, Kyle Shanahan said, "I think any scenario is possible."

"I communicate with Jimmy all the time," Shanahan said. "He looks the same as he always has. He always throws it really good. So, he looks the exact same."

The Minnesota Vikings have acquired Nick Mullens from the Las Vegas Raiders for a conditional 2024 draft pick.

Mullens will get a chance to unseat Sean Mannion and Kellen Mond, who have been competing for the backup quarterback job behind Kirk Cousins.

Mullens started 16 games for the San Francisco 49ers from 2018 through 2020, playing in an offense similar to the one Kevin O'Connell is installing with the Vikings. 

The New York Jets aren't currently interested in trading for Jimmy Garoppolo, according to a report.

Garoppolo is still looking for a new team and the Jets have some uncertainty surrounding Zach Wilson, who underwent knee surgery on Tuesday.

As things currently stand, the Jets are prepared to start Joe Flacco in Week 1 if Wilson isn't ready to return.

The Philadelphia Eagles have traded J.J. Arcega-Whiteside to the Seattle Seahawks for Ugo Amadi, according to sources.

A second-round pick out of Stanford in 2019, Arcega-Whiteside has struggled in his three seasons with the Eagles. The wide receiver has just 16 receptions in his career.

Amadi mostly played nickel in three seasons in Seattle after being drafted in the fourth round in 2019. 

Roquan Smith wants the Chicago Bears to trade him after failed contract talks, but the league has warned other teams about how they go about courting the linebacker.

Smith has publicly requested a trade, but the league reminded teams Monday that any contact with Smith, or a person claiming to represent the Pro Bowler, constitutes tampering.

The warning comes a week after Roger Goodell disciplined the Miami Dolphins for prior "impermissible" communications with Tom Brady and Sean Payton, who were under contract with other teams.

It also comes days after ProFootballTalk reported that "a person purporting to represent Smith has been calling other teams in order to gauge potential trade interest."
